Wait, they have an engineering department at Harvard?

It's not like the gov't forced this band to sign with a record label...(assuming that's why Content ID kicked in)
And it's not the gov't constantly lobbying for ridiculous copyright protections (I understand that it takes two to tango)
I guess if you're going to blame the government on...
Re: Driven By Customer 'Service' Parte Dos
In the US at least. Japan has had maps of its stations on Google Maps for, well, a long time. These only show locations/names of exits and fare gate areas, but many stations have dozens or even hundreds (Shinjuku!) of exits, so it's essential...
Re: Liberty Mutual plans major Boston expansion
I was going to comment that the recent spate of "negativity" signals a return to form for AB - at least the AB I remember from pre-Great Recession. That is, before certain true believers descended upon the board and hijacked every major thread...
The massive swath of housing projects + deadzone from Mass Ave in the South End all the way to Dudley Square used to be brick apartment buildings. In a documentary someone probably posted here, a longtime Roxbury resident mentioned that Cunard St used to be "downtown Roxbury" during its heyday...
Except for the new triangular park built right across the fucking street, in plain sight. The actual park in question is not even "on the avenue" - it's obscured by the fire station and quite frankly I never knew it existed, despite having walked down Sydney many times. Quite unlike the much...
So the Glenville project actually happened at (what appears to be) the originally proposed scale? i.e., the NIMBYs lost?
Also, now that KZ is famous, we need someone else to step up and keep track of projects not named Liberty Mutual...
^ Pretty sure no one considers Gilroy, say, to be Silicon Valley, not to mention the foothills from which the physical Valley is created in the first place...
Woah woah woah. What's going on @ Chestnut Hill Ave? They seriously demolished this one-story retail building and are potentially replacing it with something denser?

EDIT:
Hopes dashed, for now...
There's always the ubiquitous 24/7 manga cafe. Private booths with enough space to curl up in, showers, and internet service. Narita city would have plenty.
I've never had the (mis)fortune of doing it myself, but it's something of a gaijin rite of passage...
For reference...
I see, so if the SUV owner comes back the next day driving his friend's sedan, he'd still have to pay the 10%...cuz the parking lot's policy is discriminating against the PERSON himself.
Re: Tremont Crossing in Roxbury
You made it sound as if job opportunities for residents of Roxbury are a mere afterthought, as if this mall is being primarily with students in mind. Remember who the developers are, and why this is so important for retail starved Roxbury.
Re: The Point (Boylston/Brookline)
Dang, was expecting a thread about my childhood 'hood in Brookline. Whiskey Point AKA The Point...(which happens to be right off Boylston = rt 9)
