No! I did the “Save Superman” tour and I was amazed by the interior of the building. The lobby alone is such a grand space and the building as a whole seems to be in great shape. It would be very, um, extremely disappointing to see it go.

They have been in discussions since last December. Happy to finally see an announcement!

With a 5400’ runway, it would be challenging for those airlines aircraft. The goal is to add more regular service but this is a start. A new terminal is needed also, or an expansion but I do not believe that is anytime soon.

I understand your point, especially Meliville Towers. The tallest, Regency Tower, is actually not low income. It might be a small skyline but it's all we got here! ;)

Update on Elite Airways and EWB. Slightly changed plans and looks like they will start with EWB-EWR service since they will begin in the middle or tail end of the winter season to Florida. But that may mean service to both EWR and Florida next winter if EWB-EWR does well.

That is the goal eventually. They are adding a sterile area to the terminal and complying to Part 139 to accommodate Elite. Once that is complete it will be a bit easier to attract another regional. The airport hasn't had service to New York (and Boston) since the 1980's with...
