Are you positive it was in revenue service and not just testing? If so, that's awesome! I've seen a few of these (as recently as last Thursday) on tracks between Boston and Providence, but I assumed they were test trains.

It's about 1/2 a mile away. The ferry and MBTA share the same parking lot (Whales Tooth), and there are free shuttles going back and forth. But it's about a 10 minute walk in practice. Not bad.

As much as I'd love an LRT line or two in Providence, the smart play is for BRT for all of the reasons already mentioned.

No intel, but it does seem a bit aspirational to me too. A lot of the right buzzwords and "goals," but fairly light on substance.

Do you have a link/source for this? Frontier briefly tried PVD back in 2022, but it didn't last long. I'd be kind of surprised if they gave it another shot now considering their own issues combined with Breeze making PVD a hub.
