Little late with this post but it appears that the Fane Tower got approval from a Superior Court judge that stated the tower doesn't violate any zoning regulations. Will see if this one keeps moving forward...: https://turnto10.com/news/local/court-sides-with-fane-over-zoning-for-tower

This is what it looks like now. It has fallen into disrepair and most of the detail on the outside of the building is gone. I know the Historical Commission is going to ask the developer if they can incorprate any of the old features into the new design but its a long shot.

And the Hope Point Tower project seems dead again. The Mayor vetoed it and the Council president doesn't want another vote.
