General MBTA Topics (Multi Modal, Budget, MassDOT)

It's Mass - the old boys club remains ascendant - they even let in some lesbians and minorities as long as they play by the old boys club rules.

Fall River/New Bedford Commuter Rail (South Coast Rail)

I don't disagree - but - there's other, even more, transformative investments that are even better on the CBR that were foregone so that we could give Mattapoisett, Fairhaven and Somerset the option of avoiding the riff-raff on the Peter Pan or Dattco buses.

Fall River/New Bedford Commuter Rail (South Coast Rail)

I also think that you're not engaging with the actual argument against the South Coast Rail: it's not worth the benefit - i.e. $1.05 billion for just 2,000 daily riders is pretty costly. And very little in the way of other benefit.

Connected/Automated vehicles and infrastructure in Boston

I haven't heard about this aspect from others. Is this like when people wait too long to start after getting the green light or does it last a bit longer? Or is it like when my friend told me they got unexpected trapped in one - and they had to "SOS" to get a remote operator to open the door...

    Boston and the Homeless

Unfortunately, our civic leaders aren't as considerate as Mayor Mamdani. I honestly think they don't care enough (thanks, Melania) to make this as much an emergency as he has.

    Boston and the Homeless

I worry - deeply - that our government protects only the richest and most favored - instead of the most vulnerable. This is added to the pile of evidence.
