Actually, I like the CSC! It is one of the few Brutalist complexes that has aged well. It makes a fine extension of the Northeastern campus. Symphony Plaza is something else.

Symphony Plaza is the worst high rise housing built since Charles River Park.

I wonder will the city maintain the features on the plaza or will they be trashed in a year or two like similar amenities? When Northeastern paid to redo Carter field as a joint city/university amenity, they agreed to maintain it for 30 years, knowing that the city would not.

I always liked Center Plaza. JFK on the other hand needs to go.

Okay. The Tufts extension will open on December 12th. How long will it be open until they close it to do necessary work like they did with the Union Sq. branch.

Was there a deadline for submitting this IMP? It seems to be a rush job and incomplete. For example, they propose demolishing the COM building for a new STEM building yet there is no mention of where COM will be relocated. A new COM building or a major rehab of an existing building for COM...

Both of which are often at capacity even with Storrow.

Oh come on! They have been "planning" a Blue Line extension to Charles-MGH since 1960 and there is still no start date for construction.

BU initially owned the property down to the river's edge. The state took half of it by eminent domain to build the esplanade. Then the state decided to use most of it for Storrow Drive.
