Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

to archboston - Verb - To complain that a building is either not tall enough, too "stumpy" and/or not as good as some building in New York, but when it's built, people say "It's not as bad as I thought it would be". "I hear they're archbostoning the Winthrop on archboston.com"

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

I agree with you. I'd rather see the entire city look like the North End than Kuala Lumpur. Speaking of Kuala Lumpur, I currently live in the city and it's full of super tall buildings - just Google pictures of the skyline! They're even in the process of building the world's second tallest...

    Please stop.

I get it. You've learned the bits about "social justice" and racism that we should have learned in school, but didn't, and now you've taken it upon yourself to educate us older and supposedly ignorant fools on all of the new stuff you've learned. Great. But as someone has conducted intercultural...

Kenmore Square North (WHOOP) | 533-541 Commonwealth Ave | Fenway

I've probably said it before, but I'm going to say it again. Just tear down that sign and put up something that says "Welcome to Boston" or "Boston Red Sox" or something related to the city. We don't need to advertise an oil company that is tied to the corrupt Venezuelan regime.

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

When I first saw your comment, I had to go back a page or two to see if you were talking about a road or the path. Since I realize it's a path, I completely disagree with you. All forms of non-motorized transportation should be welcome as long as the riders are respectful of others on the path.

"If you have input about the significance of this property, please send to blc@boston.gov before 5pm on 10/17/2021." Dear BLC, Don't tear it down. I'll never forget that one time I parked there. Love, MrDee12345

    Progress in Lowell

As a nonsubscriber, I can't see the content. Still, I feel like Lowell is always making a comeback. It's certainly MUCH better than when I was growing up in the 80s and 90s in Billerica. As far as old mill cities go, it's doing quite well. I just wish it would see it self more like an...

Massachusetts State Flag (we need a better state flag)

I see that most of the new flags honor the natural environment that make Mass great, such as the water, flora, mountains beaches, etc. But those are natural to the area and they don't represent our accomplishments as a state. Could there be a design that represent our high standard of education...

It seems someone on reddit designed it: Here are some more that I've found online:

Massachusetts State Flag (we need a better state flag)

I found this one online a while back and I like what they're trying to do. I wouldn't mind going somewhere in this direction for the new flag.

General MBTA Topics (Multi Modal, Budget, MassDOT)

I've got a dumb question that maybe someone could answer. I was looking at the possible plans of a silver line extension to Everett and the possible branching off of the two lines around Sullivan Square. Would there also be a route that continued through Chelsea and eventually to South Station...

    Boston and the Homeless

If you look at this link, you'll see that the US does not have a very high homeless population compared to much of the world https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_homeless_population I realize that there are a lot of poor, war-torn countries that have high numbers of homeless...

You could always just drive through the state but not spend any money. That way you can add to the air pollution and traffic, but do nothing for their economy :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

    Laconia, NH

It's stunning. I have to wonder why they wouldn't consider using it as a cinema on nights it doesn't have a big show.

    Gillette Stadium

Instead of using Gillette, couldn't they use Alumni Stadium at BC? Sure, it's smaller but it's right on the green line and it would be easy for fans to reach the game by public transit.

Assembly Square Infill and Small Developments | Somerville

Billerica (along with Tewksbury and Wilmington) have been "red" for as long as I remember. Growing up in Billerica (I was born in 78), I remember Republicans outnumbering Democrats by a significant margin. I also remember the last few elections went to the GOP presidential candidate. However, in...

    Woburn Village Redevelopment | Woburn

Growing up in Billerica, I remember being amazed at the similarities. From what I do remember, as the Billerica Mall started to go down hill, the Woburn Mall stayed strong a bit longer. Woburn was also willing to make necessary changes to keep the mall viable. In Billerica, for years, they had...
