The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

I really like this photo. It gives a unique perspective on the city that we rarely see.

    Hartford CT

I'm 43 and I don't remember a time when Hartford was ever really appealing. The downtown is mostly dead and boring - If I had a choice between living in within the city of Springfield or Hartford, I'd take Springfield in a heartbeat. I'd rather live in New Haven, Bridgeport or Stamford before...

Supertall "Flagpole of Freedom" in Maine

I agree with every word you said. But it does look pretty cool, too.

Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

Jeez. I haven't been to Boston since Dec 2019. I look forward to my next visit in July and I might not recognize the Seaport!

City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

This better be finished by the time I get to Boston in July! :D

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

What authority does Bruno Oliveira have? I just googled him and I don't see that he's connected to the Everett government or a journalist.

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

If it's built, do you think it'll hasten the building of a bridge to the orange line over the Mystic River AND a Silver Line expansion? If not, what's the point?

    Memorial Drive Greenway Phase III

My wife said almost exactly the same thing when comparing her native Malaysia to Boston. Still, I've been to Delhi three times and it's the craziest driving I've seen anywhere in the world.

    Portland Passenger Rail

I'd love to see the train go all the way to Belfast. Maybe even Bangor

Petty Arguments Cut From Serious Threads

I hate all of you for causing me to spend 10 minutes zooming in on each person's face to try to figure out their race.

Bulfinch Crossing | Congress Street Garage | West End

I'll be in Boston in July. This had better be finished by then! :)

How Tall Are Boston's Buildings and Should They Be Taller?

I think we have to realize that there are limits to the demand for space for housing or businesses. Let's assume that some company has decided there is enough demand to build either a 120 story super tall or 10 twelve-story buildings clustered around a T station. I go with the latter any day...

Somerville High School Renovation & Expansion | 81 Highland Ave | Somerville

That's a great looking school. I only wish I could afford to live in Somerville so I could send my daughter there.

    Fenway HoJo's Redevelopment | 1271 Boylston Street | Fenway

Putting them in a more rural area? Not bad. Putting them next to the country's most beloved ball park? Nah, it's kinda tacky.

    Commuter Rail to New Hampshire?

Why are there no express trains from NH that bypass the smaller Mass stops like they have on Metro North. Lowell could become the new Stamford and be the transit point for those who want a local train. But to take every stop from Manchester seems like a waste of time and money.

MassDOT Rail: Springfield Hub (East-West, NNERI, Berkshires, CT-Valley-VT-Quebec)

Then I guess you could make the argument that we could provide the best (high speed) train service possible to Springfield, while providing funds to subsidize busses between Albany, Pittsfield and Springfield.

MassDOT Rail: Springfield Hub (East-West, NNERI, Berkshires, CT-Valley-VT-Quebec)

I realize it would require working with NY, but wouldn't extending the service all the way to Albany be something they should consider?

City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

They sure are putting a lot of lipstick on this pig.

    New infrastructure bill

I think it would be a waste of money turning the silver line into a trolley-type light rail system. The buses work fine and they're more versatile than putting another trolley on fixed tracks. What I do think they should spend some of the money on is a Silver line tunnel. That way people from...

    New infrastructure bill

Am I the only one underwhelmed at the amount of money Mass is getting back from the feds? For a state the regularly sends more to Washington than we get back, I was hoping for at least 20 billion.
