Pritzker Hall - Harvard Economics building

The only illustration I saw was a single facade. I wasn’t aware this was another stack of books.

Report: Celtics to look into building new arena

That should be in the AI reimagines Boston thread…

If You Were God/Goddess | Transit & Infrastructure Sandbox

Assuming unlimited money, I would build an artificial island out in the bay for a new airport and reclaim the Logan footprint.

The visible slab is the roof of the parking garage.

Biking the Boston 'Burbs (Trails, MDC, & Towns beyond Hubway area)

True. A clear example would be the Reformatory Branch Trail. Forcing Bedford to do the eminent domain tripped up any improvements to the gap along Railroad Ave.

I think I saw employees entering this building today.

Dystopian rolling in. I’m surprised that the tower crane for this one is still there.

They are not messing around on this one. The facade can’t be too far away.

    585 Kendall | 585 Third Street | Kendall Square

This one is finally giving Kendall St some definition. This illustrates why the west end of CX will change so dramatically when they finally get some traction on any of the lots.

    Logan Airport Capital Projects

I love the “security & recomposure” phrasing to cover “I need to get dressed after passing through the gauntlet”.

Biking the Boston 'Burbs (Trails, MDC, & Towns beyond Hubway area)

I wish the state would get its act together and have MassDOT grab all the former ROWs by eminent domain. That would clean up the ambiguous ownership that trips up trails or other usage.

    Logan Airport Capital Projects

Terminal C needs love, but I don’t like how the main building is getting buried in a generic modern terminal building. The swooping ceiling of the main building is one of the nicest remaining distinctive features of Logan.

Side note: that’s a nice dystopian filter you have on your camera.

General MBTA Topics (Multi Modal, Budget, MassDOT)

As a kid, I crayoned a plan to convert the Red Line to a maglev and run it down the median of Route 2 to 128. Can I get the $50k?

$50k in the budget to study a Red Line extension to the Concord rotary. I think most folks here could probably save the state the $50k. https://concordbridge.org/index.php/2026/07/15/red-line-extension-to-concord-gains-steam-as-transit-talks-roll-on/

    "Dirty Old Boston"

Fine-grained density, without the block consuming monoliths, makes for much more interesting urbanism.

Mixed Use (40B Fmr Star Market) | 299 Broadway | Winter Hill | Somerville

This one has had its official ground breaking recently. I also saw a tower crane being erected yesterday, but wasn’t able to grab a photo.

    Watertown Infill and Small Developments

When I worked in the area at a dotcom the entrance on the bus loop struck me as PoMo. I never did see the interior to confirm whether it was really PoMo.
