What on earth happened to the rest of that building? Did it suffer a fire that left the first floor intact? But then why even bother to save any of it?
Just recently, two urban explorers published a video of them exploring the L Street Station before demolition started, and it's a fascinating glimpse into this monster of a building:
The former Buffalo State Hospital is so incredibly beautiful (lets go HH Richardson!), and you captured it very well. Is the hotel that was there still closed?
Between this and Kenmore Square North, I truly cannot believe that historic buildings are being destroyed like this as if it were the 1960s all over again
