    Boston Skyline Photos

Great shots - also a fantastic spot to catch the 4th of July fireworks from because you can watch shows off in the distance on the south shore as well.

    121 Seaport Boulevard | Parcel L2 | Seaport Square

Put me in the column of liking this building as well - but I do not think that this is going to to be the "Iconic" Seaport building that Walsh et al are looking for.

    121 Seaport Boulevard | Parcel L2 | Seaport Square

Cool. I make a simple comment and suddenly I am crying in my beer and am unbearable. Thanks internet heroes! Simply put, I think the green color of the glass looks a lot more like the Manulife building than Skanska's artwork. I could be wrong, but the Manulife building certainly seems like...

    121 Seaport Boulevard | Parcel L2 | Seaport Square

I think the bait and switch on the quality/color of the glass is the culprit here. Still an impressive building but I totally agree that it will not make a striking visual impact.

    121 Seaport Boulevard | Parcel L2 | Seaport Square

Somewhat related, the Boston City Archaeologist mentioned that Skanska intended create a public display of some of the artifacts. https://www.instagram.com/p/BF31OXiNgXY/

Assembly Square Infill and Small Developments | Somerville

http://www.bostonglobe.com/business/2016/05/20/somerville-first-trader-joe-open/rrQ0nXX08TtkyNfoA561WK/story.html It looks like Trader Joe's will have something to say.

The Ipswich | 2 Charlesgate West | Fenway

Re: 2 Charlesgate West When this project was announced, I recalled seeing in a PNF or other planning document that the stretch of apartments buildings on Boylston St between Charlesgate and Ipswich had received a "gateway" designation. I tried to locate the document to no avail.

City Hall Discussion - Redevelopment - Preservation - Relocation

Have not seen this posted elsewhere, but Boston put out an RFP for a company to "program" City Hall Plaza. There is also reference to a possible future RFP to design a "Campus Plan" for the Plaza. http://www.universalhub.com/2015/city-looking-major-overhaul-city-hall-city-hall

Canvas - Mixed Use Tower (old Felt location) | 533 Washington St | Downtown Crossing

Perhaps they can work out dedicated parking spaces at Lafayette across the street? That garage seems to be under capacity most of the time.

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

See http://www.archboston.org/community/showpost.php?p=215841&postcount=796. Seems like no ground floor patio that serves alcohol.

Radian (Dainty Dot) | 120 Kingston Street | Chinatown

I do not disagree with anything that Stellarfun is saying above but I am leaning towards giving the Radian a shot as it sounds like Abdinoor is. Essex St is very barren in terms of ground floor activation. If Townsman can make a dent then it is a win. The red arch pre-dates the Radian and...

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Procrastinating on other work so I decided to pull the deed. On alcohol/bar, here are the specific restrictions: 1. The following uses (referred to in this Deed as Prohibited Uses) shall be prohibited: (i) the sale, display, manufacture or distribution of alcohol, except that alcohol may be...

    BCEC expansion | Seaport

I promise that I was using SoBo tongue in cheek after the NYT article from last year but I think SoWa might be hear to stay with the open market, etc.

I think this event is taking place in SoWa rather than SoBo.

    BCEC expansion | Seaport

Agreed. I caught the Patriots opener there and it was packed. Was a good mix of Southie natives and yuppies. Convention-goers also seem to stumble upon it after hours. I think the only downside is that you need to walk into the BCEC to use the restroom but I guess I would prefer that to...

    Seaport Transportation

Re: Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels) Just wanted to add that there are ~4-5 private companies running these shuttles from South Station as well, including Vertex, State Street and Tower Point. I assume that PwC, Goodwin and any other major tenant that moves to the Seaport...

Boston Conservatory of Music | 132 Ipswich St | Fenway

Re: Boston Conservatory of Music buys 132 Ipswich St I don't love the design but that is not a fair comparison re: the school's decision making. Major parcels on Boylston do not equal a small parcel on Ipswitch St which is inhabited by pedi-cabs after red sox games and virtually nothing on...
