Hurley Building Redevelopment | 19 Staniford St | West End

Its OK. Biggest letdown is that they're not getting rid of the Hurley building entirely, just sprucing it up. At least we have another tower to look forward to, if this gets approved.

Harriet Tubman House | 566 Columbus Avenue | South End

This is the best infill project since Hayward Place.

The St Regis Residences (former Whiskey Priest site) | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Best building in the Seaport so far. Just stunning.

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

I like the Verizon. Sure its squat and bulky but at least its interesting. Its not another glass box or generic stuff like the nearby Avalon.

Boston Fed Tower Photos & Discussion

I dont get the love for the Fed either. The tower looks like it was inspired by an old school laundry washboard. The base and plaza are typical streetscape-killing brutalist crap.

    ^Awesome pic!

Hurley Building Redevelopment | 19 Staniford St | West End

I dont like Brutalism in general but I love the Christian Science Center. Its the exception that proves the rule.

City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

What's wrong with my suggestion? The tower is ugly, the low rise portion sucks, and its bad urbanity with no streetwall.

City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

A recladding will do. Maybe some dark, almost black glass to add variety to the area. The low rise portion has got to go. Build a new base around the tower that fronts the street. Win-Win-Win.

Midtown Hotel Redevelopment | 220 Huntington Avenue | Back Bay

For a landscraper, its pretty nice.

    11-21 Bromfield Street | DTX | Downtown

^Yeah, that tower was awesome, and would have looked especially good from the Common. This and the Copley tower are big losses.

    11-21 Bromfield Street | DTX | Downtown

I liked the prior proposal. Too bad.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

I think this tower is going to look great from many angles, especially walking out of South Station and seeing it rise above its neighbors.

One Post Office Square Makeover and Expansion | Financial District

That Pru rendering is hideous. The Pru as is is kinda of ugly but no one notices/cares because its such an icon.

    Lobby Renovation/Addition | 175 Federal Street | Financial District

Its an improvement overall I guess. Better streetscape, activity on the greenway. But, although I'm not one for "sculpture" buildings, I kind of liked this one. Its up there, but c'mon. Worse than the State Service Center? O'Neal building? TOTC?

Pinnacle at Central Wharf (Harbor Garage) | 70 East India Row | Waterfront | Downtown

Wow! That's throwing some bulk into the air. But I like it.

Fenway Center (One Kenmore) | Turnpike Parcel 7, Beacon Street | Fenway

That building is massive and fat, but strangely in a good way. Its gonna have such a presence in the area.

Hurley Building Redevelopment | 19 Staniford St | West End

Tear it down, build an 800' footer and name it the Scollay Square Tower. Sort of as a roundabout FU to urban renewal.

    Parcel P-12 | 286-290 Tremont St | Chinatown

    This is a great project.

    Aerials

It strikes me every time I see aerials of The Seaport - it seems like no matter how much gets built, there's still sooooooo much space left to fill.
