    20 is plenty

Just curious of people's thoughts on recent push by city council to reduce the default speed limit in city to 20 (15 at schools). The claim is the language is different this time so that beacon hill only has to do it for Boston. I'm wondering if this will gain any traction.

    Boston's Complete Streets Policy

I am curious as to what this might mean moving forward. The big question I have is if a neighborhood is pushing for traffic calming measures, that the city can move more quickly and we might see the end of BTD/DPW using neighborhood divisions to avoid embarking on an extensive design process...

    Franklin Park

I'm curious as to what people know about Franklin Park, history, potential improvements (and funding), etc... I personally feel there is a ton of potential for this park - and especially development around the perimeter - but that it's been somewhat neglected by the city and not really taken...

    Four Corners/Geneva | Dorchester

Couldn't find a thread specifically on this neighborhood (since it spans both roxbury and dorchester) - but the BRA has put out a request for a WAG for development around the Fairmount Line stop...

    Waterfront: Shipping Infrastructure

The Panama Canal is set to accommodate larger ships in a couple years - what is Boston doing to prepare for this coming boom in shipping up the east coast?
