I am very hopeful and excited for this cladding, I think its a glazed tile.

Shreve, Crump & Low Redevelopment | 334-364 Boylston Street | Back Bay

I dont hate it. It does feel stark at the moment but as mentioned its not done or weathered. I was just in Colombia and was fan-girling over modern buildings there but I think a key feature which really drew me to them was the abundance of roof/balcony plantings which really soften and highlight...

MXD Residential Tower | 121 Broadway | Kendall Square

For real, how places like Mississauga have more interesting skylines than one will always baffle me.

Skanska Office Tower | 380 Stuart Street | Back Bay

Bartlett Yards | 2505-2565 Washington Street | Roxbury

Wow awesome historic photos. Its shame there couldnt have been an more innovative redevelopment that integrated some of the historic buildings. This site plan and architecture are so snooze.

Dick’s House of Sports | Prudential Center | Back Bay

Would shadow law apply to Copley? I feel like that could be a major constraint but otherwise agreed. It would nice to have something break up the height different between the existing residential buildings and the Pru, like 600' range.

Dick’s House of Sports | Prudential Center | Back Bay

Those entities exist but why would one developer who is well capitalized and has the luxury of time, BP, sell such a prime site in a weak market to a competitor? Especially because BP controls much of the class A office in Backbay. I agree BP signed a 20 year lease or something and hopes to...

One Post Office Square Makeover and Expansion | Financial District

I like it, feels like London to me for some reason (in a good way) and is a significant improvement imo. That said, I agree I don't want every building to be clear/blue glass.

Metropolitan Storage Warehouse Redevelopment/Renovation (MIT) | 134 Mass. Ave | Cambridge

I would love if they copied the historic lettering and completed the gaps in "Metropolitan Storage Warehouse" and "Fire Proof" with window decals. Would be a fun installation that could be removed later.

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

Add me to the group that thinks this a missed opportunity for a really cool project that incorporates parts of the existing complex/industrial heritage. Per the globe "Plans also call for a dock at the stadium site for ferries going to and from the casino." Because walking across the street is...
