I suspect they mean cars parking in both directions on either side of the street. Guild Street is two ways, despite being quite narrow. Personally I like that way as its a natural traffic calming method of being forced to share the road.

Metropolitan Storage Warehouse Redevelopment/Renovation (MIT) | 134 Mass. Ave | Cambridge

There is nothing cheap about this mildly insane cut in window on window detail. You might not like it, but it isn't cheap.

Nubian Sq. Parcel P-3 (nee Tremont Crossing) | Roxbury

I feel old, a $720 million dollar high school seems WILD to me. The only way I am in favor of this proposal is if the old high school complex footprint (including the adult high school and mathematics buildings) are demoed and developed for commercial/residential uses. That could go a long way...

105 Broadway Redevelopment | MXD | Kendall Square

I really hope MITIMCO goes higher, this is so depressingly slabby and dull.

    Proposed But Never Built

I don't think this was ever officially proposed, and if it was I missed it, but I stumbled on this beauty* today on TRIA's website. I have fantasized about this block for a while, the form is pretty cool I have some notes around the detailing but would be an awesome project...

Tufts Residence Hall | 401 Boston Avenue | Medford

The site plan and context reminders me oddly of Roxbury Community College, now only if RCC would be able to leverage some of their holdings into a mixed use campus or incorporate student housing like this.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Sure One Congress, and older version maybe 111 Huntington. Most everything else is just so boxy... we need more shapes and rooflines.

I am very hopeful and excited for this cladding, I think its a glazed tile.

Shreve, Crump & Low Redevelopment | 334-364 Boylston Street | Back Bay

I dont hate it. It does feel stark at the moment but as mentioned its not done or weathered. I was just in Colombia and was fan-girling over modern buildings there but I think a key feature which really drew me to them was the abundance of roof/balcony plantings which really soften and highlight...

For real, how places like Mississauga have more interesting skylines than one will always baffle me.

Has there been any leases announced, this seems gutsy without an tenant.

Wow awesome historic photos. Its shame there couldnt have been an more innovative redevelopment that integrated some of the historic buildings. This site plan and architecture are so snooze.
