Bruins nailed it with the redesign so far. That blown out Helvetica looks like the old signage at the Aquarium when I was a kid in the early 1990s. A very different sort of retro that feels incredibly Boston to me.

I wonder how happy ownership must be that they never actually went ahead with the New Fenway that they proposed in the late 1990s. The current park is already "right sized" and gets to be an attraction in it's own right, apart from the team. I doubt much of the development that was proposed...

I love that shot over the South End where you can see clear into Southie (and beyond), I always forget that you don't have to go too far up to get clear sightlines of places in this city. What building is under construction in that shot looking due north in to Cambridge?

I was having trouble placing where exactly on the Shoppers World property that is. My best guess is where the Kohls is off Ring Rd., though it looks a little like it could be where the Walmart is. I can't imagine they'd demo the whole shopping center for this, at least right now.

Seems like a good spot to me. It's walking distance to an Aldi and Target (and would have been to a Stop & Shop had it not recently closed). Also right off 290 and not far from 9.

A Huracan Sterrato!

They had a farmers market going on the plaza today, and I think that's why they focused on getting the hardscaped stuff done first. It certainly feels incomplete right now and I'm more than willing to wait until it's fully done before passing final judgement.
