Why do we think they're opting to not glass-in the entire southern exposure? The wider sides and the Dewey Sq-facing side are receiving their glass treatments at a steady clip...

it still wows for me in the way the glass plays with reflection. I was on the Pike inbound on Saturday in the snow and the side facing the Charles literally looked as if it wasn't there based on the reflection; my eyes/ mind really struggled with making since of how the upper two "books" were...

cool, but also kinda silly: 1 Financial would absolutely have a prominent presence in this shot, diminishing the soaring and airy nature of SST as pictured in this render.

There also not cladding that SE wedge portion (to the right of the construction elevator) for some reason. With back-to-back weeks with storms featuring SE'rly winds, I wonder how those panel have been stressed with extreme wind/ pressure hitting them from the interior facing side...

I would argue this isn't technically a "cyclist connection" as you would have to dismount and carry your bike down the stairs. That said, it is faster to get down/ into the Seaport than continuing eastbound to D St or westbound to Melcher.

The impending all-glass façade will probably "flatten" the appearance of the building, but I've been pleasantly surprised by the notches in the floor plates on the the NW and SE ends of the tower; interesting dynamism being introduced.

New Lettering is up. A little harder to read than the State Street lettering, but "comforting" to see the building branded once again.
