Whereabouts in Woburn is this? I just moved to Woburn and didn't realize we had views of the city like this.

The construction fences around the apartment side of the project have banners with branding/advertising as of yesterday. "Ora Seaport Apartments - Coming Spring 2020." https://oraseaport.com/

Right; the give-away is the shadow cast onto these vertical panels by the horizontal band above. Some of the panels bow in so the shadow swoops down, some bow out, so the shadow swoops up.

From the photos the panels appear to be "oil canning." This happens when metal panels are hard-fastened to their structure (slotted or flexible attachment is typically preferred). When the sun hits them the material expands and with nowhere to go they deform like that.

With that many panels coming off I'd put money on hydrogen embrittlement of the fasteners...

Confirmed. The glass has Nitto film on it for protection during shipping and from other trades on site.

I don't think they had problems last time this happened. Yankee Lobster definitely looked like it took on some water today though.

It's driving through it. It's the round-about in front of Yankee Lobster. Had to have been at least a foot of water there during high tide.

Also, here's a progress shot as of last week. Since then they've taken the light posts down. I am "lucky" enough to watch this project develop from my living room window. (Waiting for someone to come around that corner one night and hit the BLACK jersey barrier).

I would expect (hope?) the new "Transportation Center" garage will be functional by the time Seaport wakes up for the season.

I guess it's really happening... the parking lot entrances were barricaded yesterday.

Rumor has it it's going to be a sloped green roof. Sort of like the subway head-house outside the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn.

If you look at the lower left of this photo they're starting to replace some of the glazing temps with continuous snap trim receptors. I'm betting the depth in the renderings will be achieved with extra deep curtain wall trim pieces. Can't imagine they'd flaunt those renderings on their leasing...
