I have lived in the neighborhood for 20+ years. We don’t need any more parks that the city can’t afford to maintain, that no one really goes to except to walk their dogs (plenty of places to do that already) Best use for this space is a football/track/baseball/soccer field for the new high...

My understanding is they can’t get a certificate of occupancy for the State Street tower until the garage demo is completed.

Hi, for those of you on this board (including me) who are annoyed with the ‘yes this is a pool’ banner on top of the building… HubHouse management just announced it’s coming down next week! Will be removed Sept 22-25.

In person it doesn’t look anything like the picture in the thread above. It’s mesh like - not solid - and creates a visual that kinda looks like an extension of the glass. So it blends in and doesn’t call attention to itself. Hard to explain but you have to look at it in person to judge...
