⚪ Boston Freedom Wheel | Long Wharf? | Waterfront

Van, how is that analogous? None of the places being floated are as far/hard to get to from Downtown as Staten Island is to the Battery. And it's not a full development--a wheel and some landscaping isn't going to cost $450M.

I like the name, but spell it Freedom Whail, as in trail ;-)

How about naming it simply "The Hub"?

I would be interested to see how it could be integrated into a Museum of Science overhaul/redevelopment. They have that god awful parking structure and generally lack street activation/outdoor programming which is a shame because that area it is so high traffic and also in the middle of a growth corridor.

It was the construction costs and mismanagement which sunk the project, not the location. That can happen anywhere.

^^That's a great idea.

Then, maybe over time, we can lower it, then flatten it out, add enclosed cars and eventually put it underground.
