Came across this and was surprised I had never seen it before and couldnt find any mentions of it here on this site. Cant find it on the bpda site either weirdly… anyways:

11-Story Lab Under Review in Bulfinch Triangle​

“Plans are now under review for a lab project at 222 Friend Street & 141 Portland Street. The site is currently developed with an existing vacant building and associated surface parking lots. Now plans call for an 11-story building to include 152,500 sf of life science uses and approximately 9,500 sf of new ground floor retail space. The project is striving for the US Green Building Council LEED Gold certification standard with all-electric mechanical systems.”

A thread for this project already exists under the address "222 Friend Street"

222 Friend St | Bulfinch Triangle

I apologize if this has been posted before, but apparently there's a proposal to replace a 3-story office building (pictured below) with an 11-story lab. Unfortunately, I don't know if there are any plans to preserve the facade (there absolutely should be, in my unsolicited opinion)...
