Still gonna bang the drum for this thing. On an alternate timeline, Boston ended up getting another 16 of these built over the last ten years.
This was built with an all steel frame, but note the 5-over-1 facade arrangement that could very easily translate to actual 5-over-1 stick construction. Yet while most 5-over-1 ends up looking flimsy as all hell, this confidently projects solidity and anchors its corner with complete gusto. Credit ADD Inc architects (acquired by Stantec in 2014) for being actual good architects with a very real vision. It flies completely under the radar here in Boston, yet how many cities would kill for a development like this??
