24 Hour Gyms -> vibrancy?

^ This. 24h T service = crazy transit pitch (try looking for 24h train service anywhere on earth other than NY, one line in Chicago, and for OCD Scandinavian planning reasons, Copenhagen, and you won't find much if anything). T service until 2am and later on weekends, perhaps 24h on weekends only? Reasonable transit pitch.

That said, night buses can absolutely be 24h and at the very least run to the times laid out above.

If I told an associate in London (clearly a global 24x7 city) today (not a normal business day in the Western World) that a document was due Monday COB Boston -- he'd be able to translate it into BST without error.

Whigh, take a look at what you're writing and imagine the situation is the other way around. A business in Boston needs its employees in the office late and all services in the city running to help them do so in order to serve an overseas client. It's very difficult to achieve in Boston, and it's one reason this city is going to have a difficult time competing globally.

Boston already competes globally.

<snark>We don't even have 24 hour forum posting, much less a need for 24 hour transit ;)
