90% of what gets proposed in areas like this is essentially the same dreck, only 12-15 floors shorter. Buildings like this set a higher precedent on localized density. I appreciate the size and scope for Everett, even if the design is kind of whatever.
 
IMO places deserve good public transportation before they become wealthy and gentrified :)
I agree. Everett should have had improved transit decades ago. The original plan of the Boston Elevated Railway (BERY) in the early 1900s was to extend the Orange Line as an elevated railway up Broadway through the center of Everett. That never happened, and Everett became a transit hole like Roxbury, with new OL extensions bypassing those communities. So, the time is overdue for improved transit to Everett.
