Something is up with the wall extension on the roof and I'm still betting it will be for mechanical purposes and signage.

The sides don't bother me, it's the front and back with the nice rooflines I don't want to see blocked with a sign.

I agree and that facade extension has always been there but it has been reappointed and there are new steel supports being added. I just think it is a great spot for the hotel sign which won't compromise the historical integrity of the building.
