Looking forward to seeing this cladding in person. Is there anything similar in the area?
 
I really didnt like the massing of this when it was proposed or the red to blue fading of the facade, but seeing how the facade looks in real life has me intrigued. The renders just showed the bottom part as red, but it has all kinds of different copper penny colors mixed in throughout and looks pretty good. The crown moulding shape of the facade columns looks really good too. If the rest of the tower looks as good as this its gonna come out pretty nice.

Stick, gotta admit it took me a minute to figure out what you meant by "crown moulding shape of the facade columns," but now I totally know what you mean and agree. That three-dimensionality of them gives a lot of facade depth and shadowing that really makes this facade stand out (in a good way, IMO).
 
Regardless of the prime aB cliche, the proportions and massing of this tower would just be so much
better if it was like 20 percent taller, thanks Cambridge NIMBYs/zoning, FAA or whoever at fault for that...
