Im liking all of the infill finally spreading out from the core in to the neighborhoods especially Allston and really now picking up in dorchester too. It finally feels like that housing weve all been waiting for is coming and its not just all high rise condos anymore but actually something people will see and realistically be able to live in.
 
I wonder if they'll clean up that scuzzy intersection. That weird Freeport Street merge into the rotary is a mess. Leaving aside the terrible quality of the road itself.

It's a wierd mixture of DCR, MassDOT and city property that is really hard to navigate who does what here.

Yeah, transit access is abysmal for this site, even with it being right up against the Red Line tracks. But sadly one moderate sized resi complex doesn't make a compelling argument to convince the MBTA to install a whole new station. The one time it was done for Assembly, a giant master planned district, not a single new apt building. So, the residents here will probably need to have cars :(
