Supposedly the air quality is a bit better at elevation in that area. (The ground level air quality is horrible, particularly PM 2.5). That is part of why the recreational facilities for the Josiah Quincy Upper School (across the Pike) are on the roof.I wonder if the rooftop lounge is far enough from the I-93 air quality to overcome the 6-8 hours/day where it looks like this:
