It’s not going to be anything! There is no proposal here and no developer.I'm just happy it's going to be 5-600ish units instead of the lab + 125. Would have been nice if it was taller, but still hope it happens
This is a proposal. The developer is Pebbles. It’s not going to be anything! There is no proposal here and no developer.
To be fair, managing the company's digital presence pretty standard practice for a Communications/PR person. It's also precisely why nobody should trust any Wikipedia article to be unbiased (or even completely accurate).Don Peebles's fawning wikipedia article was written by user "Kpryles550." I wonder if there any people at the Peebles Corporation with such an interesting name...

He won the RFP in 2015, ten years ago. It's been five damn years since Peebles first submitted his plan, and it's been one delay after another. This is just another stall, another delay! The city needs to find another developer for this parcel!
Don Peebles: We’re working on one project in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood, which has been the top-performing neighborhood nationally in terms of price per square foot for rentals and luxury condos. We’re looking to do a branded residential development there, potentially with a small hotel component. We’ve narrowed down our selection on branding—ultra-luxury hospitality and residential brands—to five. Our anticipation is that we would begin the permitting process in the fall and start construction in middle to late next year.
"Raffles Residences and the Four Seasons Residences brought a new level of luxury to Boston, and we’re going to do the same thing and take it a few notches up, in terms of the elements of luxury and privacy, but at the same time, be very compatible with the Back Bay."
Please please please fill that holeCame across this interview that Peebles gave in July.

The relevant quote for this being:
I am not holding my breath for either of those time estimates, but at least he remembers that this project exists?

Don Peebles has no money and a fake corporation. The state got swindled, monorail style. They need to put this back out to bid before this fraud wastes any more time.Came across this interview that Peebles gave in July.
