I could have written much the same post. It is clear that the facility itself will be significantly better. I guess we have to hope that the surrounding area moves forward with the theater. And really, there is evidence that this is happening. It might not be immediate, but much like the ICA relocation to what was at the time a rather desolate spot, this could ultimately be another example of art institutions leading the way.Crap. I’ve been very upset about this move because I love the current location and its accessibility to Harvard Square. Allston feels like suuuuuch a downgrade.
But those interior pictures are pretty dope. Maybe this isn’t such an awful thing after all.
