This is a brief explanation for those of you who are new to the board and wondering what this forum is for.

The ABWiki was started as way to catalog Boston's built environment.
It is a user-editable encyclopedia, much like the original Wikipedia.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help build the wiki. We are especially looking for people with web design skills and enough free time to help out.

We use this forum to toss around ideas about what direction the wiki should take and any major changes we might make.

Feel free to poke around the wiki and help fill in any holes you can. Use this forum to ask any questions you may have.
