Boston Calling is going to move to Harvard's athletic complex in Allston for 2017. They're nixing the September edition this year. A film component will also be added.

And there goes the only vibrant use for city hall plaza. The transit options in Alliston aren't great. Maybe the festival became too big for city hall plaza?

I think that the organizers want to expand the festival and City Hall is too small. They're not gonna do it at Fenway and Allston fits that festival to a T. The only downside is accessibility (or lack thereof).

The lineup keeps getting more mediocre, so no terrible loss here in the fact that there's no easy access.
