Since the massive fire of 1872, which destroyed much of downtown Boston, fire has forever altered the city?s appearance, fortunes and psyche. Stephanie Schorow, author of Boston on Fire and The Coconut Grove Fire, and the members of the Boston Fire Historical Society will discuss the history of fire in Boston and present their new book, Boston?s Fire History Trail.
