I was going to suggest that if the BPL really wanted the station name to be changed that they find a few truckloads of money and pay the T off, as Citizens Bank did nearly 10 years ago when it purchased the naming rights to "State/Citizens Bank" on the Orange and Blue Lines -- but, er, that venture crashed and burned, and long may it smoulder as far as I'm concerned.
Additionally, I don't think the BPL is in any position where it has trucks of cash to give (hence the idea to introduce legislature) but when Joe Pesaturo starts expounding about how the T would never ever ever in a million years just change station names willy-nilly, he's simply overlooking the fact that the T would never do such a thing... unless it discovered a gift-wrapped fleet of trucks outside Park Plaza with a business card attached.
