Why is it a bad idea, and what would you prefer to see built here instead?

This is in my backyard - I know this isn't the forum to debate this project, but the neighborhood is very strongly for this development. Very, very strongly in favor. It's a great idea - with some major caveats about highway access.

It's on the T, and at the entrance to the highway - it's a great site for density.

I am going to be at the August 4th meeting.

Is there any possibility of building a secondary access road or the like across the highway/tracks?

Market is oversaturated with SB seaport coming and various other projects. Its just going to be another cookie cutter POS development and it doesn't fit in with it's surroundings. ( I'm not counting Southie)

Sounds good to me.

(I'd lose the 300 surface parking places, however, unless they're on-street parallel parking.)

FRIDAY AUGUST 15th - END OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD

Please support this project! It's in my back yard and the Dorchester community really needs a shot-in-the-arm like this to help revitalize the neighborhoods around this area. There is a movement at the Harbor Point housing projects to ask the BRA to include up to 33% government-subsidized housing in this site! Ridiculous for a waterfront setting.
