I blogged on this topic two years ago and got no responses (not surprising, as my blog gets few hits).
While walking at Millenium Park in West Roxbury several years ago, I stumbled upon some construction trash that had been dumped along the Charles River when the location was the site of the West Roxbury dump.
There are two carved items, representing industry. Each has a shield, surrounded by various tools, and symbols of the state of Massachusetts. I've wondered whether they came off the old Mechanic's Hall. The full blog post is linked below, with the location and more photos.
