On Tuesday, May 17, 2011 @ 6:30pm the Boston Redevelopment Authority will conduct a community meeting to be held on the site of the former Cleveland Circle Cinema, 375-399 Chestnut Hill Avenue, Brighton, MA 02135, to discuss the 375-399 Chestnut Hill Avenue proposal. This meeting is being held in compliance with Article 80 of the Boston Zoning Code.

Boston Development Group, represented by John Meunier and David Zussman (the "Proponent") suggests a mixed-used development to be constructed in two (2) phases. The first phase, constructed on the Circle Cinema site, includes the demolition of the existing theater building and the construction of a new building with an approximately 180-room hotel, approximately 18,000sf of office space and approximately 8,500sf of restaurant space. As currently suggested forty (40) rooms, 18,000sf of medical office space, 8,500sf of restaurant space and sixteen (16) parking spaces will be relocated in Brookline; one hundred and forty (140) rooms will be constructed in Boston. The second phase is contemplates the Applebee's site, suggesting the demolition of the existing building and the construction of an approximately 39,000sf building with approximately 30,000sf of office space and approximately 9,000sf of retail space. The combined site will include approximately one hundred and fifty-five (155) parking spaces (the "Proposed Project").
