Deprecating the legacy Boston urban renewal

Does anybody know what the 5 plans getting immediately axed are?

Also who can explain in layman's terms what "sunsetting" means here and how this will actually impact for planning and development in the city?
 
That is Orwellian BS. She is not beginning some process to end Urban Renewal, she is actually extending it beyond its expiration.

From the Oxford Dictionary site:
"Sunset": Subject (a program, agency, regulation, etc.) to a legal provision under which it is terminated automatically at the end of a fixed period ....

Sounds like she’s ending a third of the “plans” and intends to have the others scrapped by year’s end.
 
Well yes but they were expiring anyway, that all predates her. I was just commenting on the spin
 
I imagine it wouldn’t have been hard to just renew them for another 6 years like Marty did in 2016?
