If I am messing this up let me know. Not sure if all projects in Pawtucket get their own thread. Presumed so. Hopefully we will have one on Tidewater soon :D

Things are moving along with Dexter Street Commons and there is a rendering: https://m.valleybreeze.com/2021-01-12/pawtucket/dexter-street-commons-plan-takes-shape#.YAW8Z-Q8IlQ Presume it’s a work in progress. Pretty low quality image. The roof looks to reference nearby industrial buildings. Green looks weird.

This is the 43 Million, 150 apt multi use project near the train station that’s under construction. Last month it was reported they received a 400k brownfield grant.

The old Cala Fruit and Tarpy's Meats buildings on Dexter Street have recently been demolished to make way for this project. It is just a block from the MBTA Station that is presently being built and expected to open in 2022.

The Dexter Street Commons Project looks to be proceeding ahead. It had languished during the pandemic. Locals were concerned that it might be dropped due to changes in the workplace (WFH effect on commuter rail) and rising costs. It will be located a block from the new commuter rail station that is now scheduled to open in December-2022.

This project got City Council tax relief approval and appears to be close to getting started with an October groundbreaking planned. It had looked for some time that this project may have been dead given it was first proposed several years ago. Glad to see that it very much appears to be going forward with work soon starting.
