Well, almost a year of inactivity. Fence went up in December. 'signs' went up in July.

Well this week we have activity! More signs. Yeah, that's about it. :). I talked to the works, and they are just 'the sign guys'. Two new signs up on the corner with the same building advertisement, and they replaced the green graffiti covered viewblock with a new blue patterned one. NO clue if that means work might start, or people will just complaining about the graffiti. Who knows...

Any takes on when this thread finally closes because the building is built.. first proposed in 2013....

Signage at the corner of Washington and E Berkeley is gone (signs themselves, but the wood structure they were affixed to is not). Another victim of the cool down in the lab space sector?
 
I work next to this lot and noticed the same thing this AM. The area could sure use more housing, so if the lab space is now a non-starter, hopefully they just build some apartments/mixed use here. Way too busy and desirable a zip code to just sit vacant.

They were vinyl and partially blew off during that big windstorm. They were taken down then but not replaced.
 
It would be such a blessing if this project died.
