I wasn't quite sure where to put this, but since this is the Socials thread, sure. There is a relatively new Instagram account worth a follow:

Lots of render porn, both feed posts and stories. It's mostly current stuff, but there are some posts of recent proposals that never made it off the drawing board.
I guess it's a bit of YIMBYGram for Boston.

Enjoy! 📸

I know Facebook is kind of on everyone's shitlist these days, but for those who ahven't deactivated their accounts the WGBH Archives page posts great vintage video, mostly 1970s-80s, on a very regular basis.

They go on and on and on... definitely worth checking out at least one.

Woah.... Daddy like
Upon a less tired google search, there's some information out there for this project by Hariri and Hariri Architecture. It's the L5 Parcel opposite Amazon's L4 building going up now. Seeing as it's dated 2020, and it has SeaPAC rendered and in the plans, this might be conceptual/pre-design work by WS to help get a client, and will likely undergo some moderate design changes.

I have to say, I think it would be a nice contrast to everything else around it, and make an architectural statement. I worry about the ground floor/outdoor terraces, as the L parcel square seemed to originally promise a lot of outdoor greenery around and on their building's public terraces.

I happened to come across these four bike tour videos of all the Boston construction. I think they are extremely informative.

South End and South Boston:
Seaport:
Financial District and North Station:
Cambridge:
Back Bay:

Wow, this is a really neat way to convey a lot of information visually about new construction in Boston. Jealous of the CW staffer who got paid to ride their bike around the city :)
