Slow progress, inside is gutted and empty, guessing it might be done by spring of 25

I actually saw some workers outside the food court two weeks ago from the other side of the tunnel in Water place Park. First time seeing active construction at the site.

You cannot get close as the area is all fenced off from the tunnel under Memorial Blvd to the building.

I really hope that direct off road access from Waterplace Park to the ice rink will be restored again. I have a fear that the tunnel under the former Union Station that went by the skate rental area and out to the rink may be lost.
 
Lots of negative comments on the article. I think this sounds awesome. What’s the latest in the Superman building ? Any activity ?

It seems like it's ongoing. I don't know how fast its moving or where they are in the process because the work is almost exclusively inside, but I've seen crews on site continuously over the last 6+ months. You can see the construction lighting on each level at night too.

The latest open date has once again been nixed with it being pushed further out into future. Was in Waterplace Park yesterday and looked through the tunnel under Memorial Blvd and saw construction equipment out in front of the site. This is one of the slowest moving projects I have ever seen.

It's kind of wild how long it has taken, but I'm still excited for this. The good news is that we're talking a matter of weeks, not months. And it does seem construction truly is near-finished.
 
I'm glad this is open in time for the NCAA tourney games. I can't wait to check it out!

We were at the preview for Track 15 food hall at Union Station on Saturday night, and this much anticipated destination (the original announcement went out in 2021) in the heart of downtown really does live up to the build up. It’s situated at 1 Union Station where the Capital Grille started out.

I might swing through after I get off the train this afternoon. Otherwise I'll be there Thursday at the latest. I've talked to a few people who went to the soft opening and said it was excellent (though apparently the bar was overwhelmed with drink orders).
