Foot in the door

How does one go about landing a planning internship in the Boston area? I've been in Maine for almost two years so my network is pretty thin down here.

In this economy, unless you are willing to be an unpaid intern, there aren't going to be any openings. You could try Antonio DiMambro's office and maybe a large corporate place like TRO, but you're really going to be playing the lottery against all the students from the Boston area, Columbia, Yale, Cooper Union, WashU, IIT, RISD, Penn, Prat, Syracuse, UNH, Norwich, et al.
