Check out this new resource: Cranewatch.biz. It’s an interactive map designed to translate technical filings into a visual directory of Greater Portland's evolution. By combining professional mapping with crowdsourced updates, we’re tracking progress throughout the phases of project development.

Please take a look and, if you find it useful, share it with your network.

If you're hesitant to click links, you can simply type cranewatch.biz into your browser.

Thanks,

Keep it! Cool resource! I love a good visual. Also, it’s very interactive. It beats hunting and fishing for information since it is all in one place.

Is it too early in the planning/approval process for Ian to add the Time & Temperature Building restoration project?

It's a great visual collection of current developments. The only surprise to me was seeing that the addition to the St. Lawrence Arts (now Hill Arts) center has actually begun?!? They've been talking about this project for 15 years or more, can't believe there is actually work underway. Will be a great venue if they can complete it as designed.

Hello, Thanks for the kind comments and support. Yes, this is a hobby for me, a good retirement activity! I’m enjoying living in Portland and remaining engaged in the construction community.
Best,
Ian MacDonald

No, this is a glaring omission, I will add this under “concept” phase. Thanks for pointing this out! It’s appealing to understand what may be in the pipeline.

A LEADERBOARD was added to Cranewatch.biz 😃 Who are the big players? The LEADERBOARD counts the number of times Building Types (hint - multifamily apartment is leading), Architects, Site Design, MEP design, General Contractors, and Developers appear in the map/list.
I hope you like it!
Ian
