I don't see how it would be possible to 'block' one browser and not another, since they all talk the same protocol through the same ports.
 
^^That's what I thought as well. But look at what kind of info you are sending out when you browse:

http://www.thismachine.info/

Evidently, it would be possible to block traffic based on this user string. If the far end server can read it there is no reason to think the proxy I run through can't.
 
At my last office, the computers had only IE6 and users were not allwoed to install any new programs.

The reason being is that the software sued required IE6

Also currently grinding my gears:

People who only post in one or two threads. It clear those people have an agenda of some sort, be it pro or con.

I'd take their opinions a lot more seriously if they would branch out to at least a few different threads. :(
 
^I don't like these one thread wonders either. I'm very suspicious of these folk and I actually have less respect for them, maybe fair maybe not.
