Hanover Everett | Second & Vine | Everett

It's 320 residential units.....and in Everett....in a neighborhood described by the OP as "It's a warehouse district with single family homes just scattered through, one or two per block..." That is a major turn towards urbanity.

And once that first pioneer project goes in, others will follow.....

There has been so much change in that area, other multifamily projects include Pioneer (ha.), Vero and V2 (technically in Chelsea), Mason, Maxwell, Anthem, and the one under construction on Revere Beach.

Is that new big garage, east, a part of this project?

-Apparently this is called Hanover Everett now.

Construction Update: Hanover Everett

“VSM² Structural Engineers recently shared progress photos of The Hanover Everett project. The upcoming 6-story mixed-use development will house 340 residential units, a mix of 1 & 2-bedroom apartments, and over 4,000 square feet of retail space. Residents will enjoy a range of amenities, including a courtyard with a pool, a dog park, and the garage offering 435 vehicle parking spaces and 340 bike spots. Construction began early this year with completion slated for May 2026.“

Can we hope that it will be largely hidden by surrounding buildings?
I hope so.
One problem with a (largely) featureless concrete hulk of a garage like this is that the concrete ages badly in this climate, getting badly stained and dingy after a few years. I would recommend applying a thick coat of paint in ten years, or sooner as needed.
