Heading to Vegas!

Ever gone to the Fremont strip and seen the local zombies in those sad old casinos? They are proof that lizard people exist.

I didn’t make it that far north but saw the type in my one other visit to a casino. That was in Detroit a little over a decade ago. Not a spot I’ve considered revisiting.

That Sphere thing freaks me the hell out. There's something unsettling about being surrounded by a screen that big. I don't really get vertigo, but something about the Omni Theater at the Museum of Science is already vaguely unsettling to me, so seeing a similar thing at such an inhuman scale is downright terrifying. That one clip where the camera swings around the robot jumping off the cliff? No. Hell no. No no no no no.

I was on the ground level which, from videos I’ve seen, appears to have a more immersive feel than balcony seats. When images on screen moved away from the audience rather than toward is when the room started to spin for me. That said, had I not caught the last day this artist was performing, I would have bought tickets for another night.
