Hello, fellow netters.
I wanted to invite you all to the John for Deeds campaign kick-off party.
As some of you may know, I'm running for Suffolk County Register of Deeds. (Suffolk County is Boston, Chelsea, Winthrop, and Revere.) I'll be on your November 8th ballot as a non-party candidate.
This will be a party / fundraising event, but you're welcome no matter what. If you don't want to make a contribution, bring a friend who will. lol.
The party is at Club Cafe, at 209 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA 02116, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. There will be a cash bar, but probably no food. I'll probably say a few words around 7:30 pm, or whenever people usually do that sort of thing at events like this.
If you want, you can RSVP here: https://www.facebook.com/events/711844755634389/ Doing so would give me an idea of how many people might show up. No matter, I just want to make sure there's more than just me.
As a long-time member of the ArchBoston community, and a frequent poster, I hope that many of you know me and consider me a worthwhile candidate for this position. I've always been a pro-development, pro-neighborhood kind of guy (if such a thing is possible) and I have the background and experience to succeed in this position, unlike the person who is likely to win the Democratic primary on Thursday. (ahem.)
Please PM me if you have any questions, and I hope to see you there!
