The project, set on a 40,689-square-foot parcel in the town center, calls for approximately 4,900 square feet of ground-floor commercial and retail space fronting Clarke Street, along with a below-grade garage providing 50 residential parking spaces and an additional 17 exterior spaces for visitors and commercial use….”

According to the Lexington Planning Department's MBTA Communities Zoning tracker, this application has been in front of the Historic District Commission on September 4, October 9, and December 4 in 2025, and February 5, March 5, April 2, and if you want to provide input will be back again on May 7 in 2026. I think my input would be - Just make a decision already!!

“A residential community called Fieldside at Lexington at 475 Bedford St. in Lexington would replace the Lexington Tennis Club.

A former Boston Sports Club site now called the Lexington Tennis Club has been approved for three buildings totaling 150 apartments.”

From the last couple weeks. Even thinking back to two years I never would've imagined Lexington would become a veritable hotbed of construction activity. Yadda yadda not on my bingo card...

17 Hartwell, with 312 units, is moving fast with loads of contractors working seven days a week. Here it is on 4/14

Lastly, right next to 17 Hartwell is no. 7 where demo fencing has just gone up. Another 130 units are proposed, which will altogether create 442 units of rentals within view here
