“MassHousing joined WinnCompanies and Boston Housing Authority in South Boston yesterday for the Mary Ellen McCormack redevelopment groundbreaking celebration. With 200+ folks in attendance, the audience heard from speakers including Representative Stephen F. Lynch, Governor Maura Healey, and Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭.

The first phase of redevelopment is beginning with the construction of “Building A”, which will provide 94 replacement affordable units for existing Mary Ellen McCormack households. Building A is only the first of eight new residential buildings planned for phase one of the project.”
