LogMeIn may be latest tech firm to dive into Seaport District digs

LogMeIn Inc. has been eyeing an address in Boston’s Fort Point district for a headquarters relocation and may join a steady stream of technology firms into the “Innovation District.”

The Woburn-based company has shown strong interest in 316-320 Summer St., an office property set for a major interior renovation by owners Lincoln Property Co. and ASB Real Estate Investments.....Lincoln Property senior vice president John Miller said LogMeIn has looked at 316-320 Summer, which consists of connected five- and six-story yellow brick buildings.

“LogMeIn has got interest and we’ve got interest in them, but there’s no agreement at this point,” Miller said last week of the 110,000 square feet up for grabs. “In general, technology tenants seem to be gravitating toward the area.”
.....VerColen said the Boston move would create “recruiting opportunities” for LogMeIn. The company started in 2003 and saw its sales rise by 18 percent to $120 million last year.

LogMeIn counts more than 20 million registered users who have connected more than 125 million devices. The company has been in acquisition mode recently, scooping up BoldChat, which adds a chat feature to customer service communications, and Pachube, a British firm whose software connects devices to the Internet.

“We’re excited about the (real estate) options on the table,” VerColen said. “We’re definitely excited for the opportunity to grow and to create an even better facility and continue to grow the business in the area.”

I don't know anything about this "no agreement" stuff.
As far as I'm aware, this is happening.
